Stackure MCP Server
Manage your Stackure organization from Claude or another AI client.
What it is
The Stackure MCP server lets an AI client look things up and make changes in Stackure as you. It can see and do only what your roles allow. Its address is:
https://stackure.com/mcp
Before you start
- You need to be a user in a Stackure organization. Sign-in is by email, with no passwords.
- Your organization's owner turns on AI access under Organization · AI Clients.
- Each Stackure region has its own address. This page is for https://stackure.com. Use the region where your organization was created.
Connect Claude
In Claude, go to Customize · Connectors, select Add custom connector, name it Stackure and enter https://stackure.com/mcp as the URL. Select Add, then Connect. On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds the connector first under Organization settings · Connectors.
Connect Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http stackure https://stackure.com/mcp
Then run /mcp and authenticate.
Your browser opens Stackure. If you aren't signed in, enter your email, then the 6-digit code we email you. The code works for 10 minutes. Choose View only or View and change, then select Connect. If you had to sign in, select Connect within 30 minutes or you're asked to sign in again.
What you can do
- People, roles and permissions
- Teams
- Apps and who gets them
- Partner organizations and signups
- Support requests
- The activity log
- AI clients and sign-out
Ask in plain language, for example "What's waiting on me in Stackure?", "Who holds which roles here, and what changed recently?" or "Give the [app] app to the [team] team."
Approvals
Some changes, such as removing a person or deleting an app, run only after you approve them, in your AI client or on a Stackure page in your browser. Approve within 10 minutes. Secrets are never sent to the AI client. They are shown only in your browser.
Disconnect
- Yourself: open your profile, select AI Clients, then Edit and disconnect the client. Signing out of Stackure disconnects every AI client.
- Admins: people who can edit a person can see and disconnect that person's AI clients: open the person under Users and select AI Clients.
Limits
- Each connection can make 120 requests per minute. Past that, requests fail with 429 until the minute is up.
- A request over 1 MB fails with "request too large".
Troubleshooting
- Asked to sign in again: the connection ended because it went unused for 30 days, reached 90 days, was disconnected or you signed out. Reconnect and sign in.
- "AI Access Off" or "AI Client Not Allowed": the owner turns on AI access, or adds the client's host, such as
claude.ai, under Organization · AI Clients. - Changes fail or are missing: you connected with View only, your organization allows view only or your roles don't allow the change. Reconnect with View and change, or ask your owner or a user admin.
- "That code doesn't work.": ask for a new email and use its code within 10 minutes.
- "Approval Expired": it wasn't approved within 10 minutes. Ask the client again.
